About the event

UPDATE (4/30): EVENT IS POSTPONED - NEW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON

While research on the role of diet on brain health continues to evolve, scientific evidence suggests that including walnuts as part of a balanced diet may help maintain and improve cognition for individuals across the lifespan. There is also emerging research that suggests certain nutrients, eating patterns and individual foods, such as walnuts, may play a supporting role in mental well-being.

Join us for our latest installment of Eat the Science where Kristy and Jackie will share the latest research on how regular walnut consumption may help support brain health, cognition and mental well-being. They will also be demonstrating two unique walnut recipes in time for National Walnut Day on May 17 and Brain Health Awareness Month in June.

Register today to join the free workshop on May 1st and receive 1 FREE CPEU for Registered Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians, Registered approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

This workshop series is sponsored by the California Walnut Commission.
